Sony has officially announced the availability of its newest 3D projector, namely the VPL-HW30AES. The VPL-HW30AES is actually an LCoS projector although Sony calls its version of the technology SXRD but functionally it is the same as the LCoS implementations which used by JVC.
The specs of VPL-HW30AES 3D projector are a 1920 x 1080 Full High definition image resolution, 1300 ANSI lumens brightness plus 70,000:1 contrast ratio. In term of connectivity ports, you will find a D-Sub port and also a couple of HDMI ports.
According to source, this VPL-HW30AES is recently available for $3,999 MSRP. Each purchase, you will get also two pairs of 3D glasses.
