Toshiba has showcased their newest Toshiba Excite X10 tablet at International CES 2012. This device is claimed as the world’s thinnest 10-inch tablet that thinner than the iPad.
Physically, This tablet comes with amazing look with an edge design that consisting of two thin wafers.
Besides operated by Android 4.0 ICS OS, the Toshiba Excite X10 tablet also include with a 1.2GHz TI OMAP 4430 dual core processor chip, 1 gigabyte of Ram memory, 16 gb / 32 gb of storage.
This new Toshiba tablet features a 10.1-inch touch screen AutoBrite display with 1280 x 800 image resolution, protected by Gorilla Glass, 16:10 aspect ratio, and 149ppi Wideviewing Angle (like an IPS display), a rear-facing 5 megapixel digital camera, a 2 mega-pixel front camera, with a micro sd card slot (upto 32 gb of capacities). It’s battery power can handle upto eight hrs of video playback.
For connection, you will find USB, micro HDMI, and DNLA compatibility.
The price of Toshiba Excite X10 tablet is $529 for 16 gb unit and $599 on 32 gb model.
